Who is who?

Frank Deconinck
Frank Deconinck (frank@minf.vub.ac.be) is a medical physicist who graduated from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. His main research interests are in medical image processing and in access to pictorial information by blind people.
Michel Defrise
Michel Defrise (michel@minf.vub.ac.be) graduated in physics from the Universite Libre de Bruxelles. He currently works on 3-D reconstructions in PET and SPECT.
Qin-sheng Chen
Qin-sheng Chen (qschen@mpcs.mskcc.org), now at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, trained as engineer from Xišan Jiaotong University and received his PhD from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. His research interests are mainly in image registration.
Dirk Tombeur
Dirk Tombeur (dirk@minf.vub.ac.be) received his engineering degree from the University of Ghent. He joined our group and just obtained his PhD with a thesis entitled: Investigations into unitary and non-Euclidean geometry of biomedical images.
