The Master Program starts the fourth week of September, ends the third week of June and takes minimally two academic years for completion.
At the beginning of the academic year, an introduction session is organized with the purpose of outlining the courses and of composing an academic profile for each student. Participants will regularly be informed on activities and dates for the academic year.
Lectures, courses and corollary activities are scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with an emphasis on the last two days of the week especially in the second, third and fourth semester. They are organized in packages that are concentrated on a particular area in Medical Research. For each of these areas or classes, a coordinator plans the activities in collaboration with the participating teachers. Students are expected to actively participate in all parts of the program. Feedback between teachers and participants is essential and optimizes the educational level.
Students choose the subject of their thesis as well as the laboratory where this work will be carried out. The course coordinator and the class coordinators assist the participants in the selection of a thesis-subject and laboratory. The course coordinator can be consulted for all matters related to the course.
